This week I’ve been getting ready for the annual Kappa Delta Sisterhood Brunch at Washington State University! It’s a garden party theme, and I love how bright and modern it is.
This brunch is an opportunity to celebrate the graduating seniors as well as recognize chapter members for a variety of achievements. Today I’m sharing my favorite things about the brunch prep I’ve done this week.
My first favorite is the wooden sorority letters I painted for the occasion. I shared all those details on Monday, and you can read that post here.
I definitely have a pattern crush on stripes with florals!
On Wednesday, I shared the tablescape we’ll create at all the brunch tables, which is definitely a favorite this week! Get the details here.
I’m totally loving the super easy place cards I made out of Carrara tile pieces, and I’ll definitely be using that idea again in the future.
The graduation stoles are new this year (in the past we’ve done green ones), and I’m loving them! They’re the gift we give the seniors to wear at graduation, and they are my next favorite this week.
The seniors will also get an alumnae certificate and a white rose to celebrate this milestone in their Kappa Delta membership.
Another favorite is the fun little gifts the women will get at the brunch. The women get recognized for academic excellence and several other chapter accomplishments, and for each of those achievements, there’s a small token of congratulations!
The hair ties are from here, and the wristlet is from here. So fun, right?! I hope the women love them!
No celebration would be complete without a photo booth, and that’s my final favorite this week.
I think this will be such a fun backdrop for group photos! I found the paper flowers on Etsy, and I was so excited to discover them because they’re the perfect compliment to the theme and colors.
Today I’m headed to Jenny Cookies to pick up our custom KD cookies and to Pike Place Market to get flowers, then I’ll be ready to head to Pullman bright and early on Saturday. Follow me on Instagram to see all the fun!
Party on!
