And just like that, it’s Friday again!! I hope this Friday finds you well! It’s been a fun week for me – my parents have been in town and I’ve really enjoyed spending time with them.
To get the house ready for their visit, one of my projects was making a new wreath for our front door. And my first favorite this week is that wreath! I’ve been really into sunflowers lately, so that was the inspiration for the wreath. Get the details on the wreath here.
Another favorite this week is the mat I got for our porch, which actually inspired the wreath I made. I’m really enjoying the wreath, and I think it’ll be perfect for fall!
My next favorite is the sunflower brittle I made for my parents to enjoy. This incredibly simple treat is perfect for fall. Get the recipe here.
Continuing with the sunflower theme, I am really enjoying the new centerpiece I created for our kitchen table. I used the same flowers I put on the wreath, and used a great wooden berry basket I found at Michaels. I anchored the arrangement in a square piece of foam tucked into the berry basket, and filled in the flowers until I got the perfect look. I added some pumpkins to the table, along with my favorite plaid napkins and neutral placemats, and my kitchen is dressed for fall!
And my final favorite this week is the fun time I had hosting my parents! We packed a lot of adventures into a short time, and had a blast! I took them to the airport yesterday, and I’m already looking forward to seeing them again at Christmas.
This weekend, we have big plans to do nothing. And I’m thrilled about it! I’m looking forward to getting caught up on housework and relaxing.
I hope your weekend is wonderful!
Party on!
