Happy Thursday! I hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day! Chelsea and I celebrated at home with steaks on the grill and a platter full of mini desserts from Whole Foods (my favorite part!).
We also enjoyed a delicious cocktail – sparkling rosé berry sangria! It’s super refreshing and full of berry flavor, and it was perfect for Valentine’s Day. It will also be perfect for tonight’s belated Galentine’s Day with some of my girlfriends!
Here’s what I used to create a big batch that serves eight…
1 bottle sparkling rosé (my preference is a local favorite, Treveri)
1/2 cup vodka
1/4 cup Chambord
Strawberry sparkling water
Sliced Strawberries
Raspberries
Mint, for garnish
Combine the rosé, vodka, Chambord, sliced strawberries, and raspberries into a drink dispenser, then let that sit at least two hours, or overnight (the longer it sits, the more flavorful it will be). When it’s time to serve, fill a cup about half full of ice, then fill it about 1/3 full with the sparkling water, and top with the sangria mixture. To finish it off, add a few berries and a sprig of mint and enjoy!
Add this cocktail to your list! It’s a crowd pleaser for sure!
Party on!
