At the end of every school year, my Girl Scout troop celebrates with an awards celebration. In 2013, it was NEON! The girls thought of the theme after narrowing it down from a long list that included unicorns, of course. I had a blast coming up with ideas for this party.
I used the tassel garland for the first time at this party, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
I loved the favors – they were simple, inexpensive, and useful post-party. Emi Jay hair ties are my favorite, and I found the same elastic ribbon on Etsy to make my own. And neon wayfarers?! #hip
When I first got started with the decor, it was all feeling a little, well, neon. I opted to add some black touches as my neutral and I think it really helped.
I think this party theme could be really fun for a birthday party or bachelorette party! For a birthday party, how cute are these cakes?!
