This Thursday is a Cookies and Cocktails event hosted by Girl Scouts of Western Washington, and I’m so excited to be on the planning team. If you’re local, you should check it out here. The event will showcase Girl Scout cookies in food and drink recipes, so I thought it’d be fun to come up with my own cookie cocktail – a Boozy Samoa Milkshake! Here’s what I got to create the milkshake:
To make 2 milkshakes, I used:
- 3 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 6 Samoas
- 2 shots of amaretto
I combined everything in my blender, then drizzled the inside of the cup with caramel and hot fudge sauces. Then, I topped the milkshake with whipped cream and toasted coconut, and of course, another Samoa cookie!
It. Is. Delicious!! Another option, in place of the amaretto, is Baileys. I used that when I made a big batch of the milkshakes for a party, and it was just as yummy! You could also leave the alcohol out all together and it’d be great that way, too.
Check back later this week for a recap of the Cookies and Cocktails event! And, if you’re looking for Girl Scout Cookies to make your own Boozy Milkshakes, you can buy them online here.
Party on!
