Friday Favorites: Girl Scout Cookies

It’s been so fun this week celebrating Girl Scout Cookie everything!

My first favorite this week is the Cookie Rally I hosted with my Girl Scout Troop! We’ve hosted the rally for our local Girl Scout sisters every year for the past six years and we always have a blast.

My next favorite is the boozy Samoa milkshake I made. It. Is. YUMMY!

Check out the details and get the recipe here. I was inspired to make the milkshake because I was on the planning team for Girl Scouts of Western Washington’s Cookies and Cocktails event, which leads me to my next favorite!

The event was a celebration of 100 years of Girl Scouts selling and a way to kick off cookie booth sales, starting this weekend. It was definitely a highlight of my week, and a favorite for sure.

Women chefs and bartenders from around Seattle all created food/drink items inspired by and/or using Girl Scout cookies, then served their creations to the guests.

We also set up a S’mores Bar and Fire Pit outside for guests to enjoy, and that’s another favorite this week!

The S’mores bar was one of my big projects as part of the event, and I loved finding the menu combinations and getting everything set up!

My final favorite this week was getting dressed up for the event! I don’t often have the chance to wear cocktail attire, so it was super fun picking out my outfit and being fancy for the night!

You’ll have to excuse the bathroom selfie, but I will say – I love that wood wall AND the fact that the bathroom had a full-length mirror perfect for outfit selfies 🙂

My jumpsuit can be found here, blazer here, wedges (similar) here, and necklace here. The jumpsuit was super comfy and perfect for enjoying the event while also needing to run around a bit assisting vendors and guests. Surprisingly, I have another event with a different group of people this weekend, so the jumpsuit will be making a repeat appearance on Saturday night!

What are you up to this weekend? Something fun I hope! And if you’re looking for Girl Scout Cookies to make your weekend even more exciting, you can order them online from one of my girls here or find a local cookie booth in your area here.

Party on!
