Friday Favorites: Pumpkins

Happy Friday! This week, I’ve been sharing all things pumpkins in celebration of my favorite season, and my favorites this week are following suit.

My first favorite is the wooden sign I made. I’ve been crushing on a ton of wooden signs on Pinterest lately, so I thought I’d try and make my own. It was a fun project, and I’m looking forward to making more and improving my craft. Get the details here.

My next favorite is the delicious (DELICIOUS! It’s so nice I had to say it twice) Sparkling Bourbon Pumpkin Punch recipe I shared on Tuesday. I looked over several recipes on Pinterest, and adapted a few to make one all my own. Get the recipe here. Try it, and thank me later 😉

Last week, I had the chance to share the new wreath for our front door, and I was waiting until the mums on our porch decided to bloom to show our finished fall front porch. Well, that finally happened this week, and the front porch is definitely a favorite. I’m totally loving the purple mums contrasted with the yellow sunflowers.

Another favorite this week is our updated mantle decor. I decided to go with an updated look for the mantle. In the past, my decorations have been the traditional browns, reds, and oranges, and I wanted to give some non-traditional colors a try. So, over the last few months, I’ve been collecting pumpkins in shades of teal, green, and blue, and I came up with this…

And my final favorite has nothing to do with pumpkins, but it’s still a fave! September is International Women’s Friendship Month, a celebration created by my sorority, Kappa Delta. Well this week, I had the chance to celebrate some of my favorite sisters with some festive donuts.

So fun, right??

This weekend Chelsea and I are having a sleepover with her nieces – it should be so much fun! Then next week, I head to Ohio for Girl Scout Convention!! I’m on the staff team supporting convention, and I’ll get to be the host for some of the guest speakers, including Simone Biles, Barbara Bush, Sally Jewell, and more.
