Hi friends! It’s Friday the 13th – spooky!! So that means it’s the perfect day to share my favorite theme for this year’s Halloween party – all black and white decor. This week, I’ve shared a couple party ideas using this color color scheme. I thought it’d be fun to step outside my comfort zone and go with just black and white this year. If you’ve read my blog for a while now, you know that I. LOVE. COLOR. So black and white is definitely new for me, and I am actually really loving it! So, all my favorites this week are about that.
First up is the centerpiece I made on Monday. This black-and-white floral topped pumpkin took me five minutes. Seriously!
I’m really loving how it turned out, and it is the perfect addition to my black-and-white Halloween tablescape. Michaels has these foam pumpkins in white, teal, and orange, too, so no matter what look you’re going for, you could make one of these yourself. Get the details here.
My Halloween tablescape is my next favorite. I took the pumpkin I made, and added a bunch of pumpkins and other black-and-white Halloween decor on top of my black and white table runner.
Most of my pumpkins are from Homegoods and Michaels. I also picked up some real mini white pumpkins from my grocery store. I love packing a tablescape with a bunch of decorations to match my theme, then tucking in cake stands around the decor where the food will go. I feel like the tablescape can be the focal point of the party, so I really try to make it a feature.
Another favorite this week is the fun BOOzy black-and-white shake I created to go along with this party theme.
It is so yummy! Get the recipe here. This shake would be perfect with some of the other black-and-white party foods I found on Pinterest, which is my next favorite.
I created a Pinterest board with all my black-and-white ideas here.
And my final favorite is all the awesome Halloween puns I’ve been seeing! I used my felt letter board to try out a few. This board will be the perfect addition to the black-and-white Halloween party!
Get my exact letter board here. Which pun is your favorite?
Have a great weekend, and party on, witches!
