Happy Friday! A week from today, our bellies will be full of turkey and it’ll be time for a weekend full of football! This week, I’ve been getting ready for the big rivalry game in Washington state, Apple Cup. It’s the annual game between Washington State University and the University of Washington.
I mentioned on Monday that we are a house divided, because Chelsea went to UW and I consider myself an honorary Coug since I work with the Kappa Delta chapter there. So my first favorite this week is the House Divided wreath I created on Monday in celebration of Apple Cup.
Get the details here.
My next favorite this week is the slow cooker apple cider cocktail I shared yesterday. It is served in the slow cooker, so it’s perfect for an Apple Cup Party, or really any party!
Get the recipe here.
Another favorite is the apple cider doughnut holes I created to accompany the cocktail. They’re so yummy!
Get a box of mix here, so you can enjoy them too.
For Christmas last year, Chelsea got me a set of etched glassybaby with the UW and WSU logos on them. I love them, and they’re the perfect showcase for Apple Cup.
And my final favorite is the adorable clutches I found at Jon Hart Design. They’re a Texas company, so they don’t have Washington school logos…yet…but I had the clutches hot pressed in gold and silver with “Go Dawgs” and “Go Cougs” respectively. They’ll be perfect to carry all our necessities on game day.
I love Jon Hart Design. I’ve been a customer of theirs since college, and the vinyl coated canvas bags with the option to personalize makes them the perfect gift. And, they have so many options from drink koozies to large duffle bags, so no matter who you’re shopping for, you’ll find something at Jon Hart.
What two teams will you be watching next week? Are you a house divided??
Party on, and GO COUGS!
