Thanksgiving Thursday: Pear Thyme Fizz

Happy Thanksgiving, friends! I hope you’re enjoying time with family, watching the parade, and getting ready for a delicious meal. If you’re looking for a last minute cocktail idea for today, or any upcoming holiday parties, I have the perfect one for you – a pear thyme fizz cocktail. It’s festive, easy, and delicious.

IMG_7405Here’s what you need for six cocktails:

2 cups apple cider

  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur, like Grand Marnier
  • Prosecco or champagne
  • Pear, sliced thin
  • 12 sprigs of thyme

Mix the apple cider, Grand Marnier, pears, and thyme together in a pitcher and let it sit for at least two hours. This really allows the pear and thyme flavors to infuse the apple cider.

Once the mix is ready to go, fill a champagne flute about 1/3 full, then top with prosecco/champagne and serve!

Cheers, y’all! Thank you for reading my blog. I’m thankful for you! I’ll be shopping ’til I drop tomorrow, so I’ll be back and in full Christmas mode on Monday.

Until then, party on!
