Friday Favorites: Cinco de Mayo

Happy Friday everyone! Tomorrow is Cinco de Mayo, and this week on the blog, I shared a festive tablescape to celebrate, and today’s favorites are equally as festive.

My first favorite is the tablescape post from yesterday.

My next favorite is a delicious, classic margarita, perfect for Cinco de Mayo and all summer long! It features my new favorite margarita mixer and rimming salt, both from Demitri’s.

I first tried the mixer/salt at this year’s Cookies and Cocktails event, and I. Am. Hooked. It is so delicious. Get you some today, trust me!

Another favorite was using some of the Cinco de Mayo decor to also give our mantle a quick makeover, and I’m loving it so much! I think it will stay up all May.

Aren’t those cactus tealights cute?! Get those here.

This week, I got the spring edition of my sorority’s quarterly magazine, The Angelos. I was thrilled to receive it because I had the honor to contribute to the article celebrating the 20th anniversary of the partnership between Kappa Delta Sorority and Girl Scouts of the USA. Both organizations are near and dear to my heart, so the chance to share in the creation of the article is definitely a favorite this week!

And my final favorite is that I’m headed to New York next week for a work conference! I won’t be blogging, but you can keep up with me on Instagram here. And if you love New York as much as I do, check out this post I did after my trip last year.

Can’t wait to be back in NYC! See you back here after Mother’s Day!

Party on!
