I love to follow trends, and the Pantone Color of the Year is one of my favorites!
Last year, I had a great time creating blog content to celebrate Ultra Violet, the 2018 Pantone Color of the Year. I loved coming up with a floral wreath featuring ultra violet and other complimentary shades.
Read more about what I shared here.
And in 2017, I celebrated Greenery by creating a succulent wreath.
Read those details here.
This year’s color is Living Coral, and it is such a beautiful shade. Earlier this week, I shared a tablescape, and today I’m sharing a floral wreath featuring this lovely color.
I found a variety of flower options in the perfect shade of coral at Michaels, so I picked those up, along wtih some coral ribbon, and opted for a moss wreath to try something different.
The moss wreath is Styrofoam covered in moss, so it’s nice and light and was easy to work with so the flower stems could insert easily into the foam. I started first by attaching the large foam roses, which are a new find at Michaels. I love how bold they are, perfect for spring – and bonus – they are coral!!
Once the roses were added, I started tucking in the other coral flowers – I had wild roses, dahlias, and small roses.
After the flowers were attached, I tucked in some coral stems and attached a large floral bow.
I love how the wreath turned out, and it’ll be perfect for spring!
Tomorrow I’ll be back to share more love for Living Coral!
Party on!
