A couple months ago, I was asked to teach a flower arranging class for a social event at the Junior League of Seattle. It was so fun to put this event together, and I’m excited to add this to my event planning offerings. See details on how to book your own flower arranging class here!
The morning of the event, I visited the Seattle Growers’ Market to buy peonies, ranunculus, tulips, and greenery. I had also previously purchased some mercury glass vases and all my supplies, so by the day of the event, I was all set!
I got to the venue a couple hours before the event started, and it was a gorgeous evening, so we opted for the rooftop deck. The views were lovely, and it was nice for everyone to be outside after a long day at work.At each placesetting, I had the participant’s vase, tools, and tip sheet. The drinks and snacks were all set up at a separate table, and flowers were set up in buckets on a main table.
Once everyone arrived and had the chance to enjoy a snack, the arranging began! I walked them through the steps, gave tips, and offered advice. The finished products were all so unique and wonderful! Big thanks to Emma Lee Photography for capturing all the wonderful details of the event. And thanks, also, to the Junior League of Seattle for inviting me to come teach.
