We’re a little Disney-obsessed lately (well always really, but it’s been kicked into high gear for the last year month) getting ready for our trip! Yesterday I shared the details of our trip plans, and today I’m talking Disney outfits!
My family have all been really good sports about my Disney outfit planning, and I can’t wait to see it all come to life. We are going to be in matching shirts for one day, themed shirts for another, and then color and/or theme coordinated for the remaining days.
For our first day, when we visit Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, we’ll all be wearing “Oh Happy Day!” shirts from Happiest Tees on Earth. I follow Erica, the owner, on Instagram, and she’s the most joyful person and her designs are all so cute. So fun! All the girls will be wearing the mauve color, and the guys will be wearing grey. Here’s how I’m styling my shirt…

On Day Two we’re visiting Epcot and everyone is on their own, but color coordinated in navy, purple, and blue. I’m super excited about my ears on this day. They’re on a black headband and the ears and bow are all interchangeable with a special locking mechanism to keep them in place. I love how unique they are! Here’s my complete look…

When we head to Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios on Day Three, I’ll be repping Slinky Dog, my favorite Toy Story character! I bought the Slinky Dog headband on my last trip, and I’ve been saving it especially for this trip! The rest of the family will be wearing Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios shirts, and our color theme this day is grey, red, and navy. Here’s my outfit…

For our full Hollywood Studios day, the whole family will be coordinated. As a group of eight, I thought it’d be fun for us to dress as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs! My niece will be Snow White and the rest of us will wear shirts with our Dwarf name. I ordered blank shirts from here (super cheap, fast shipping, excellent quality!) and used my Cricut to cut out the names, then ironed them on. My mom, Chelsea, my sis-in-law, and I all have ears to match our shirts, too. Here’s how I, Dopey, will be styled!

On our last day, a full day at the Magic Kingdom, we’re color coordinated in blue, mauve, and black. I’ll be repping “it’s a small world”, a ride I’ve loved since I was little. Here’s my look…
Shirt | Pants | Shoes | Bag | Ears
I always prioritize comfort when headed to the park, since I know we’ll be doing lots of walking and standing. I opt for sensible shoes, and I love to wear joggers, a sport skirt, or jeans. When I was at Disney World in January of 2018, it was chilly in the mornings and warmed up considerably in the afternoons, so I’m planning for that, too, by packing a couple sweatshirts.
Other items I’m making sure are in my suitcase are a rain jacket, extra socks, sunglasses, a swimsuit (just in case it’s warm! I love hot tub time!), flip flops, hair ties, toiletries, and a small first aid kit. We also plan to place a small order through Prime Now for room snacks, sparkling water, and other odds and ends.
What’s in your Disney suitcase? What’s your favorite place to shop for Disney outfits? Let me know in the comments!
Party on!
