This week’s roundup of Friday favorites is all about my favorite season: Back to School season!
One of my most favorite move lines is is this one right here…
I love watching “You’ve Got Mail” all the time, but especially in the fall.
My next favorite is the wreath I made for our front door – so festive and fun, right?!
Last weekend, we hosted a Kindergarten Kickoff for my nephew, and it was my favorite way to celebrate the season!
One of my favorite decorations for the party was the balloon garland we made for the mantle. It was the perfect picture backdrop for the new kindergartener! I used a balloon garland strip to fasten everything together, which made it so easy. The pencils, apples, and confetti balloons are all from Etsy. And I made my nephew’s shirt on Custom Ink – I love using their site – so simple to use, the shirts are high quality, and the shipping time is guaranteed.
Another favorite from the party was the tablescape filled with fun decor, the delicious treats (cupcakes and cookies), and, of course, a bouquet of freshly sharpened pencils! I also loved the party favor for each of the kids – a paper pencil filled with color-coordinated sixlets!
We also had the opportunity to gather with some friends last weekend and I was in charge of dessert. I decided to use some of the same delicious treats for that gathering, and stayed on-theme with an apple charcuterie. It is one of my most favorite treat boards I’ve ever created! Head to this post on my Instagram page to get all the yummy details.
And of course, I couldn’t forget my niece and nephew on the east coast! I sent this fun little school package to them to celebrate the start of the school year! It included another Custom Ink shirt, some fun new clothes, and, of course, school supplies. And check out that fun letterfolk doormat. I love customizing it for the seasons!

Party on!
