A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure to host a baby shower for a colleague and decided to make the most of my fall decor and turn that into the shower theme, Little Pumpkin. I love how everything turned out, and it was the perfect first party in our new house!
The party was a casual luncheon with a small group, so I limited the decor to a balloon garland and decorations on the dining table.
I tucked a “little pumpkin” banner into the garland and added a mylar pumpkin balloon (from my local grocery store) as finishing touches. I use this balloon garland strip and this balloon pump to make things really easy!
I attached it to my window using ribbon to loop around the balloons at the top end and the corner, then used painters tape to affix the ribbon to the wall. This method gave me no issues and the garland stayed put. I really love how it turned out, and my favorite balloons are the clear confetti filled ones. So fun!
On the table, I used my fall decor (pumpkins, obviously!) and tucked in my coordinating glassybaby voties, taper candles, flower arrangements, and a cake plate with themed treats and an “oh baby” cupcake topper. At each place setting, I topped the fall plaid napkins off with a baby pumpkin and I was ready to party!
I love how the whole look came together, and it was versitle enough that I could leave the entire tablescape (minus the treats) set up for the rest of the fall season!
We enjoyed lunch and pumpkin carving, and it was the perfect way to celebrate the mom-to-be and her little pumpkin!
Party on!
