Friday Favorites: Texas Tech

Happy Friday! This week on the blog it’s been all things college football. I recently took over as the president of the Seattle Chapter of the Texas Tech Alumni Association. The associations are encouraged to gather for each football game, so we kicked off with a watch party earlier this month. It was so much fun!

On Tuesday, I shared about all the decor details. So festive and a favorite for sure!

Wreck ’em Tech! Game Watch Party

Hi friends! It’s been a busy couple of weeks with lots of fun events and this week I’m sharing the details of one of those events. I recently took over as the president of the Seattle Chapter of the Texas Tech Alumni Association. I’m excited to take the lead on this, and I’ve been so happy to be connected to several fellow Red Raiders in the Seattle area!

A couple weekends ago, we hosted our first game watching party at a local sports bar and we had a great time. There were about 14 people who showed up, which I was really happy with for our first event. I can’t wait to see how much it grows.

Check out our decorations…

Back to School Wreath

Well, here we are, it’s back to school time! This year, Chelsea’s nephew is starting kindergarten, so we’re having a little family celebration this weekend to mark the milestone! I’m prepping this week and can’t wait to party on Sunday.

I thought it’d be fun to make a wreath as the focal point of the decorations. I’ve seen several crayon wreaths and I love them, so I decided to give it at try.

Friday Favorites: Sunny Day

Happy Friday! This week I’ve been reflecting on a fun Sesame Street baby shower I threw for a friend, so those details and other sunny favorites make up my list this week.

I love the Sesame Street theme song, “Sunny day, sweepin’ the clouds away…” It is so cheery, just like the Sesame Street gang. I had so much fun putting this shower together with all the bright and sunny details – definitely a favorite.

Sesame Street Baby Shower

Last week I had the pleasure of throwing a baby shower for one of my dear friends as we await the arrival of her first baby, a son, who they’re naming Ernesto. They will call him Ernie for short, so naturally, I thought a Sesame Street Baby Shower was a must!

I first turned to Etsy and found a TON of cute stuff. I coupled that with some great finds at Fred Meyer and Party City and I love how the whole thing came together.
