How can it already almost be July?! Seriously, this summer better sloooow down! I am excited for July, though, lots of fun things planned! And today, I’m rounding up my favorite 4th of July essentials for a fantastic family celebration.
First up is the boxwood wreath I shared on Monday! This wreath was very simple, and I love its classic look. It’ll be a staple on my front door for the entire month of July for sure. Get all the details here.
My next favorite for the Fourth is this awesome kid-friendly punch recipe I shared on Tuesday. It is refreshing, sweet, and perfect for sipping poolside with your favorite kiddos. Get the recipe here.
Another favorite is a grown-up cocktail for Fourth festivities that I shared during election season. This sangria was great in November, and it’ll be even tastier in the heat of summer. Get the details here.
Another favorite this week is the fun finds from Party City for the 4th! I love the baskets and basket liners! Plus, how cute are those plaid napkins! I can’t wait to put them all to use on my 4th of July table!
My final favorite this week is the festive mantle makeover I did for the Fourth! I consider myself very lucky to have a farmer’s market in walking distance to our house, and I found the perfect 4th of July flowers there: red poppies and blue delphinium!
I added in a couple wooden stars (from my local craft store), two tapers with battery-operated 4th of July candles, two glassybaby, and a festive runner (from Michaels), and the mantle is ready for fireworks!
I’m headed to Dallas today to visit family, then to Phoenix for my sorority’s convention! So I’ll be taking a blog break until I’m back! You can keep up with all my adventures on Instagram.
See you back here in July!
Party on!
