This week, I’m sharing all the Christmas decor around our house. Yesterday, I shared the details on our two Christmas trees. Check out that post here.
Today, I’m sharing the decor in our kitchen!
I always like to do a festive tablescape, and this year, I opted to use my collection of red and green trees on top of a plaid table runner. My trees are all from Hobby Lobby and Michaels, and my runner is just some plaid fabric. I also added in my felt garland (mine is from last year, but this year’s version is so cute!), some candles with a berry candle wreath (similar here), and a few glassybaby to complete the look.
At each place setting, I used my regular placemats (they’re a champagne color with a little sparkle to them), and topped those with plaid napkins (similar here) and red poinsettia ornament clips (similar here) that I repurposed as napkin rings. To finish each place setting off, I added a tree coaster.
I’m loving how the table turned out, and it feels really festive with the red and green.
The other addition to our kitchen holiday decor is a small tree that I decorate with kitchen utensil ornaments. I’ve been collecting these ornaments over the years, and I just love them all! This year, in the Target Dollar Spot, I also found an adorable set of lights made out of star-shaped cookie cutters. How perfect for the tree, right?!
My favorite ornament is the vintage blender. So cute, right? In front of the tree, I added my two little Christmas friends, made by Lori Mitchell, and found here.
Thanks for visiting my kitchen! I’ll be back Thursday with a fun, festive cocktail, then wrapping up (ha!) my holiday decor posts on Friday.
Party on!
