Happy March! Today, I’m sharing about a quick and easy makeover I did to our mantle in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day!
Our mantle was previously decorated in celebration of the Pantone Color of the Year for the past couple months, so I was excited to change it up.
I found some great items at Michaels, Target, and JoAnn’s, and incorporated all three into the mantle, along with some decor I had on hand from previous years.
To get started with the mantle, I first added some extra flair to the shamrock banner by tying some shamrock ribbons between the panels.
I measured out the ribbons, cut equal strips, and then tied each piece in between each panel. To give each ribbon a v-shaped cut, I folded the ribbon in half length-wise, and cut it at an angle. Then I hung the banner on the mantle and started to build out the decor from there.
In the photo above, you see a little peek of shamrocks – I had those previously hanging from the mirror, but eventually decided to edit down and removed those. Here’s the final product!
It’s a festive vignette in our house, and St. Patrick’s Day ready! Check back later this week for a festive St. Patrick’s Day recipe.
Party on!
