Happy happy Friday, everyone! The weather in Washington has been beautiful, and definitely has me feeling like summer is here, so this week I’ve been embracing with all things watermelon so my favorites are all one in a melon this week 😉
My first favorite is the sugar cookie recipe I shared on Tuesday. I turned the sugar cookies into watermelon slices, and I was so happy with how they turned out!
This is my kind of fruit serving! Get the recipe here.Â
On Wednesday, I shared the details of a watermelon wreath I made for our front porch and it’s definitely a favorite this week.
My next favorite is the whole porch makeover I did, which was inspired by the watermelon doormat. I just love it!
It is all so festive and I’m loving the bright pink and green. Read all those favorite details here.
And since I made over the porch, I figured it was time for a mantle makeover too. I wanted to keep it clean and fresh for summer, and also match it to the porch. I opted to incorporate my glassybaby in watermelon colors. I put them in the order that you’d find in the layers of a watermelon to give an abstract interpretation, and used a dry erase marker to draw seeds on the pink glassybaby. As a finishing touch, I added in some pink peonies in a mercury glass vase, and also layered in a pink vase. This mantle is a favorite for sure!
My final favorite is the watermelon grapefruit mojito I shared yesterday. It is refreshing and delicious, and a must for summer.

So many sweet favorites this week! Have a wonderful weekend!
Party on!
