It’s Tasty Tuesday, and today I’m sharing this totally delicious and indulgent recipe for 3-layer cheesecake bars. My recipe source calls them something else, but I like my G-rated name better.
I made these for a football-watching party this weekend, and they were very simple and a crowd pleaser!
Here are the ingredients you’ll need:
- 1 log refrigerated cookie dough (I used Pillsbury)
- 20 Oreos, plus about a dozen more, crushed for topping
- 2 8oz bars cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- Warm caramel, for drizzle
- Hot fudge, for drizzle
First up, I sprayed my 8×8 glass pan with cooking spray, then pressed the chocolate chip cookie crust evenly into the bottom. Then, I added a layer of Oreo cookies on top.
After that was ready, I blended the cream cheese, vanilla, eggs, sugar, and salt using my hand mixer until it was smooth and creamy.
When it was ready, I poured it over the Oreos.
It spread evenly on its own, but you could use a spatula to help it if needed.
Next, I crushed Oreos and sprinkled them on top.
It went into my 325-degree oven and cooked for 30 minutes. You want it to stay in until the cheesecake layer sets, and for my oven that was 30 minutes.
I took it out of the oven, and put it straight into the fridge. Be careful if you have glass shelves! Use either a cooling rack or towel to protect your fridge! After three hours in the fridge, it was ready to serve.
I sliced it into 16 pieces, and plated it. I set the caramel and hot fudge sauces on the side for topping!
YUMMY! These will definitely make a repeat appearance in the future!
Party on!
