I am so excited about today’s recipe! It features pumpkin and bourbon, so it’s the perfect fall cocktail. And as I shared yesterday, I love everything fall, as cliché as it may sound. This cocktail is easy, refreshing, and delicious, and you should probably make it tonight, so let’s get right to the recipe.
Here’s what I used to make enough for four cocktails. This recipe could certainly be made in a big batch for a fall party by doubling or tripling the recipe.
For four cocktails:
2 cups of Apple Cider
4 Tbsp. of Pumpkin
1 tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice
2 Tbsp. Sugar
3 shots of Bourbon
Ginger Ale
I started first by mixing the apple cider, pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, and sugar in a large measuring cup. Once everything was totally combined, I added the bourbon shots and gave it another stir.
I filled my drinking vessel (I chose a ball jar for extra fall flair!) about halfway full of ice, then added the pumpkin mixture, filling the glass a little more than halfway. Then, I topped the drink with ginger ale and it was ready to serve!
This drink is SUPER tasty, and not too “bourbon-y,” which I like. If you want a stronger bourbon flavor, you could definitely add one (or two…PARTY!!) extra shot(s).
Party on!
