Friday Favorites: Graduation Week

Happy Friday! This week has been extra special as I’ve been celebrating the end of an era – my Girl Scout troop girls are graduating from high school. I’m still in denial, because I can’t believe the day has finally come. Where did the ten years go?!!

My first favorite this week has been looking back at some of the photos of our ten years together. Here’s a snapshot…

My next favorite this week is reminiscing on our final year together. I blogged about our Bucket List year here.

We had so many great adventures this year, including dinner at a delicious vegan restaurant, pictured above.

On Sunday, I threw a Magical Graduation Celebration for the girls, and that is definitely a favorite this week.

It was a lovely celebration, and I was so happy we could all gather together one last time. Read that post here.

At the party, we took these photos of the girls in their caps and gowns. These photos are definitely a special keepsake and a favorite for sure! One of the girls in the troop is finishing 11th grade, so that’s why she’s not in a cap and gown. She and I will continue to meet next year so she can hopefully earn her Gold Award.

My next favorite is the special mail I’ve been receiving all week from my girls. Love these graduation announcements!

And a bonus favorite this week is unrelated to graduation, but is still a top 5 of the week. My nephew celebrated his first birthday! I was so sad I couldn’t be there in person to celebrate, but I loved getting to see pictures and getting to Facetime with him. He is just the happiest little guy, and I know he had the best day.

This weekend I’m attending two graduation ceremonies (the girls in my troop go to two different schools), going to my Girl Scout council’s Gold Award Gala, and celebrating Father’s Day with Chelsea’s family over brunch. It’ll be a busy and fun weekend.

Hope yours is wonderful too!

Party on!
