Friday Favorites: Patriotic Party

Well I can’t believe I’m already blogging about the 4th of July because that means that summer is almost half over. What?! Nevertheless here we are and here I am. I’m loving all the fun 4th stuff I’ve seen this year, and I’m excited to share some of my festive ideas this week.

My first favorite is the patriotic tablescape I shared earlier this week.

I love the corkmat placemats and napkins!! Read that post here.

My next favorite is the Pom Patriot cocktail I shared yesterday, which would be perfect for any Fourth party!

While shopping for my Fourth of July decor, I obviously made a trip to Target and their Dollar Spot is on point for this holiday. I also found some amazing Oreo treats with a firework flair. YUM! Check out all the fun stuff I scored – favorites for sure!

A couple months ago, Chelsea made this amazing chair for our deck using this design plan. It is an incredible chair and a certain puppy dog thinks Chelsea made it just for her. Definitely a favorite πŸ™‚

My final favorite is the porch makeover that was inspired by our new chair. It has been in progress for the last few weeks, and it is nearly complete – just waiting on two more throw pillows which should be delivered today. It has a patriotic flare to it, with my color choices, and I’m loving how it turned out. I’m really drawn to a red, white, and blue color palette for summer, for obvious reasons. It’s a great hangout spot, and Penny has promptly claimed both the chair and the futon as her own πŸ˜‰

The striped pillows are found here. And the pillows we have being delivered today are found hereΒ (see the finished product on my instagram later today!). Our futon is here, and our outdoor rug is here.

Check back next week for more patriotic inspiration.

Party on!

The first half of summer has definitely flown by. I’m hoping the second half will go a little slower because I am not quite ready to start immersing myself into the whole back to school madness.
