Friday Favorites: Sunny Day

Happy Friday! This week I’ve been reflecting on a fun Sesame Street baby shower I threw for a friend, so those details and other sunny favorites make up my list this week.

I love the Sesame Street theme song, “Sunny day, sweepin’ the clouds away…” It is so cheery, just like the Sesame Street gang. I had so much fun putting this shower together with all the bright and sunny details – definitely a favorite.

My next favorite is the Rubber Ducky punch I made for the shower – Ernie’s favorite for sure!

Another favorite this week is some prep I’m doing for an upcoming bridal shower that I’m planning. The bride wants a moscow mule bar, so I have the difficult (wink wink) task of taste testing some ginger beer from a local favorite, Rachel’s Ginger Beer. We spent a sunny afternoon at their shop sampling some great flavors. My favorite so far is peach. And bonus, they serve delicious food to go with the mules. YUM YUM!

Last weekend Chelsea and I went to a wedding, and while it wasn’t exactly sunny (it was the first day of rain in several weeks), the wedding was a joyful celebration. We loved celebrating the happy couple and the rain stopped just long enough for the ceremony to happen outside, so that’s a favorite this week too.

And my final favorite is celebrating the dog days of summer with this sun-loving pup! Any chance she gets, she’s soaking up the sun!

Enjoy the long weekend. See you back here next week.
Party on!
