Last weekend, I hosted the annual sorority retreat with my chapter advisor sisters for the newly elected chapter council. Kamp Kaydee, as it was named when we hosted it for the first time six years ago, is an opportunity for us to come together for a glamping weekend.
The retreat focuses on leadership development, goal setting, and planning for the semester ahead. It’s always such a fun weekend, and my favorites today are all things Kamp!
My first favorite is all the decorations. Most are repeats from years past, and I love getting them out each year and putting them together in new ways to refresh the look.
Read about all the decor here.
Another favorite was the delicious cinnamon role casserole I made for our breakfast. Simple, quick, and yummy – the perfect combination!
Get the recipe here.
My next favorite is the s’more bar. This was a new addition this year and it was a huge hit! I got some berry baskets in the retreat colors and filled them with all the s’more fixins. Then, I had aluminum foil on hand and everyone could make an oven s’more (you put the oven on broil, build your s’more, wrap it in foil, then let it broil for about 5 minutes).
This s’mores bar was reminding me of the s’mores bar I created for a Girl Scout event a couple years ago. Check out that post here.
I loved getting to know the new council, and I’m so excited for their passion and excitement for their roles and the work they want to do. They are definitely a favorite this week!
And my final favorite is this group photo of the new council and chapter advisors. I love working with all of these sweet sisters and I’m thankful for another successful retreat.
Have a great weekend, and party on!
