With college graduation and wedding season upon us, it’s a great time to think about some fun, unique gift-giving options for the college graduate and/or couple you’ll be celebrating soon!
I love to put together cocktail kits because you can tuck in some useful tools to stock their bar plus all the components to make their favorite cocktail. I was recently comissioned to put together just such a basket for a group of graduating best friends that they could enjoy through their final weeks of school. I love how this basket came together, and I hope it gave the ladies several evenings of delicious happy hours!
Once the cocktail of choice was decided (vodka spritz), that informed the rest of the theme for the basket. I used KetelOne infused vodkas that have a lot of floral notes, so I went with bright, bold colors and flowers. I was so happy to stumble upon the perfect set of napkins, drink stirrers, and party supplies at Michaels that complimented the theme! I added in fruits and herbs, and my favorite sparkling water, Topo Chico. I wanted to whole kit to be really easy for the ladies, with the fruit sliced in advance and all the herbs washed and ready, so I bought some nice containers at Marshall’s to put all the prepared components in. I also found a great basket there to pull the whole gift together.
I loved this little project and it is definitely one of my most favorite cocktail kits I’ve done!
Here are some of my other favorite cocktail kits from years’ past!
First is my “Let the fun beGIN” cocktail kit – This is a gin and tonic kit that I gifted this for a holiday party, and it would also be a perfect gift for the fun that begins after college graduation and/or at the start of married life!

Another favorite is this “Call me Old Fashioned” cocktail kit – This Old Fashioned kit was another holiday gift, and could definitely be tailored for a college or wedding gift – and a nice bottle of whiskey is something that can be enjoyed for a long time!
Similar to the “Let the fun beGIN” kit, I created a printable for this one and attached it to a mini clipboard. Inside the basket, I included all the ingredients for the perfect Old Fashioned cocktail.
My final favorite is this “Bloody Mary Brunch” cocktail kit. I LOVE the cute napkins and plates that accompany all the cocktail components in this kit – so. much. fun! and great for a married couple or new college grad to host brunch this summer!

So many delicious options! Which one is your fave? Have you gifted a cocktail kit? Share your ideas with me in the comments!
Party on!
